Admissions Process
Crucible Lusaka prepares ambitious students to become pioneering leaders for a prosperous Zambia.

Selection Criteria
For an application to be successful, the applicant must be:
Aged 15 to 18
A Zambian citizen
Have demonstrable excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects. Distinction first-class in Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Applicants must share either Grade 12 results or certified Grade 12 midyear/mock examinations. All applicants will have to undertake an Entrance Examination Assessment.
We also value:
Award recipients; preferably in a science related subject or at a competition.
Members of school clubs or active in sports.
Holders of school leadership positions such as; school headboy/girl, prefects/counsellors, sports/team captain.
Any other independent activities that demonstrate leadership.
Whilst applicants must meet the minimum requirements for entry, Crucible Lusaka recognizes that talent, potential and leadership may not always be reflected in traditional Zambia General Certificate of Education qualifications, or equivalent. That is why at Crucible Lusaka, internal assessments are conducted in order to complement the secondary school level examinations.
Admission Flow
STEP 1: Application
Applicants submit their applications via the website or with our admissions team.
STEP 2: Review
Candidates submit supporting documentation such as copies of identity cards, statements of results, academic transcripts, midyear/mock examination results, testimonials, and sports and other extra curricular awards.
STEP 3: Assessment
Long listed candidates will be asked to complete an assessment to be submitted online.
STEP 4: Interviews and in person assessments
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to in-person interviews and assessments with the Academic team.
STEP 5: Enrolment or Admission
Following the interviews, successful candidates will be invited to confirm their places.
Classes commence in February 2025.
