Who We Are
Africa is rich in resources, culture, diversity and talent. The world needs a thriving, vibrant and stable Africa not only to overcome barriers to economic growth and social welfare but also to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges, such as migration and climate change.
At Crucible we know that great secondary education is a necessary precondition for rapid development. Countries which have experienced the most rapid economic development have well-educated leaders in all sectors of their economies. Such leaders overcome barriers to development in even the most challenging of circumstances.
Crucible Lusaka is our first school to address this need. Crucible graduates will be academically brilliant and equipped with a broad set of leadership skills and a deep understanding of how they can make a difference to their communities and to Africa.
Our approach ensures that this opportunity is open to students regardless of their backgrounds. To make this possible, we are offering founders scholarships to all of our first cohort of students.
