Our Mission

Crucible Lusaka prepares ambitious students to become pioneering leaders for a prosperous Zambia.

This is an opportunity to be part of something transformational.

Crucible is an initiative to catalyse the creation of 100 world-class schools for remarkable teenagers across Sub-Saharan Africa by 2045. Through these schools, we plan to have a transformational impact on African economies in the 21st Century, substantially expanding the quantity of outstanding future African leaders.

The first Crucible school, Crucible Lusaka, will launch in Zambia in January 2025, initially educating senior secondary students before a later expansion to junior secondary. Students will sit Cambridge International A level examinations in preparation for entry to top global universities. They will study a focussed (examined) STEM curriculum alongside Crucible’s (unexamined) Arts curriculum. They will develop deep leadership skills through a range of extra-curricular activities in a boarding school environment.
